Our install team is in the testing phase for this Hytrol ProSort shoe sorter at a client facility. We have this one tuned to run at approximately 350 FPM

Shoe sorters function like this: as cartons travel along the conveyor, the system tracks each one to its assigned destination. At the correct divert point, a series of sliding shoes moves diagonally across the conveyor, gently pushing the carton onto the appropriate takeaway lane.

💡💪Thinking outside the box (literally).

Mats, rugs, textiles, and other long objects are often seen as a non-conveyable - this solution was designed to go against that notion.

For this client, mats are transported horizontally on a segmented belt, automatically transferred and positioned through the wrapping and labeling equipment, and discharged as finished, packaged product ready for the next stage of handling.

💲🚫Streamlining operations doesn't always mean spending on new equipment.

Often times, an existing solution can be relocated and re-engineered to support a new line or operation.

The CHC team recently dismantled, relocated, and reconfigured an existing fulfillment conveyor system, handling everything from the mechanical installation to electrical rewiring and controls programming, including a new E-stop circuit.

The best part of it all? the entire project was completed in just 3 days, getting the customer’s system safely back up and running with minimal downtime.

A great day of learning, collaboration, and getting a closer look at vertical conveying solutions with Ryson International

🚧💪Another major system installation update at a client facility on the west coast.

With much of the conveyor structure now in place, our CHC install and engineering team is hard at work on the next phase: field wiring, controls, supporting equipment assembly, platforms, guarding, and supporting components that complete the system.

This stage may be less visible than setting the main equipment, but it is where careful coordination and install know-how matters most. Every connection, safety feature, and control point must work together before the system is ready for testing and commissioning.

Step by step, the project is moving closer to becoming a fully operational material handling system.
