All I have to say…”so proud!”

Hey guys, super long post alert 🚨

This means more to me then most of you know. For years after having my children I wanted a career I could be proud of, not just a “job” I worked out of convenience. I’m so happy that I am at that place in my life now, and that my children get to witness this journey.

First I want to thank and Cut|Color|Balayage|MD👨🏻‍🎨💇🏼‍♀️] for providing me with the opportunity to gain additional experience and education beyond school. All the support, love, and collaboration comes from the example they have set. Thank you for taking a chance on me❤️

To my incredible educator and mentor Cut|Color|Balayage|MD👨🏻‍🎨💇🏼‍♀️]. I was so nervous starting this program after attending cosmetology school during a pandemic. Jason met me where I was and patiently taught me from the ground up. He generously shared so much of his time, knowledge, and his 20+ years of experience within this industry. The amount of technical skills and knowledge I gained over the past 8 months is truly remarkable. Thank you for never giving up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself❤️

To my fam- I have never in my life felt the love and support that I have gained from these ladies. There were multiple days I left the salon and cried tears of gratefulness after someone took time to encourage me, remind me of my worth, give me a suggestion or advice, relate to what I’m going through, or just flat out tell me to get the hell out of my own way! There were days where I would get home and receive the sweetest text full of positive words of encouragement, or a “honk honk” (IYKYK)! Most of the time it felt like they could read my mind and knew exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. There is nothing more powerful than a group of woman who collaboratively support each other❤️

Last but certainly not least. I could not do anything in life without my husband. there is no better supporter, cheerleader, and vastly underpaid therapist than you. Truly my rock, my person, and the only reason I’m somewhat sane😉 I love you endlessly for all you do, and all you are.
