Job description
**Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, Tile, stairs, molding and flooring.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect workpieces to ensure they conform to specifications and quality standards
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
```Experience```
- Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques including cabinet installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction drawings
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material quantities and labor costs
- Familiarity with caulking, electrical work, stucco application, and heavy lifting
