Now I know what I want for Christmas. After teaching a section on blast overpressure and operator brain health at the recent Large Caliber Rifle course, I put a few down range on this fully loaded Accuracy International .50 equipped with a Thunderbeast Arms suppressor. Result: extremely low overpressure / borderline impulse noise exposure. Looking forward to map it 2024.

Our Christmas Story, BAaM360 Style! Got some backyard range time with this childhood classic, Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. Sent a few down range before testing for overpressure. Result: No measurable pressure from the shooters location, but you may shoot your eye out kid!

Eric Patricks medically retired from Law Enforcement at the young age of 47 from a blast-related TBI. He was exposed to blast waves during different training scenarios throughout his career, but there is NO PERSONNEL BLAST EXPOSURE RECORD that quantifies how much pressure he was exposed to that directly links these events to his injury. We want to fix that for current and future officers, and with your help we can.
