Mira joins Surface Tech with a career in finance and accounting across the building materials industry, including Martin Marietta and Heidelberg Materials (formerly Lehigh Hanson).
She has led regional financial performance, business operations, and strategic planning, and as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) she brings a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and risk awareness. Mira holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tirana, Albania, and an Applied Associate Degree in Accounting from Brookhaven Community College in Dallas, Texas.

Surface Tech is proud to join Maccaferri.

Maccaferri has acquired Surface Tech and Iterchimica, creating a new High-Performance Materials vertical, the first step in extending Maccaferri beyond its traditional product categories.

The vertical combines three complementary technologies into one integrated offering:
Surface Tech's ACE XP aramid fiber reinforcement
Iterchimica's asphalt additives
Maccaferri's geosynthetics and engineering solutions

Together, they span every layer of the road, from subgrade to surface, and the full lifecycle, from construction to maintenance and regeneration. The result is pavement engineered as a complete system rather than supplied as individual products, with significantly lower maintencace interventions and CO₂ across the road's life.
