(6)

Boom Supersonic is redefining commercial flight by bringing supersonic flight back to the skies with Overture. This historic commercial airliner is designed and committed to industry-leading standards of speed, safety, and sustainability. Boom’s vision is to bring families, businesses, and cultures closer together through supersonic travel and make the world dramatically more accessible. Boom is t

he first commercial airplane manufacturer to commit to a carbon-neutral flight test program and to build sustainability into its entire aircraft program. XB-1, Boom’s supersonic demonstrator aircraft for Overture, rolled out in 2020 and is poised for its first flight in 2021. The company is backed by world-class investors and has 30 aircraft on pre-order. Founded in 2014, Boom has assembled a team of over 150 full-time employees who have made contributions to over 220 air and spacecraft programs. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Baker Hughes to provide the critical infrastructure for the next generation of computing. Boom Supersonic has placed firm orders for 25 BRUSH™ Power Generation units – totaling 1.21-gigawatts of power capacity – specifically to integrate with our Superpower natural gas turbines.

By pairing our high-efficiency turbines (derived from our supersonic engine core) with Baker Hughes’ world-class 2-pole DAX 7 generators, we are delivering a new category of scalable, onsite power. This collaboration ensures that the growth of artificial intelligence is no longer constrained by the limitations of the aging energy grid.

Real hardware. Real scale. Real progress.

The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) is proud to announce the finalists for the 2025 Robert J. Collier Trophy, recognizing the greatest achievements in American aeronautics and astronautics from the past year.

Established in 1911 by air sports pioneer Robert J. Collier, this coveted award has set the standard for recognizing technological excellence in American aviation for over a century. Finalists are selected based on substantial improvements in performance, efficiency, and safety.

"The 2025 finalists embody American ingenuity, continuing the rich tradition of global aerospace innovation that defines the Collier Trophy," said Amy Spowart, President and CEO, National Aeronautic Association. "To be considered for this award is to be recognized among the absolute best in our industry. These teams have taken on incredible challenges—from exploring deep space to redefining autonomy in logistics and combat—and have succeeded in relentlessly expanding the limits of possibility."

One year ago, we picked up where history left off. Today, we’re building the future.

On January 28, 2024, XB-1 proved that supersonic flight was no longer a dormant chapter of aviation. But for our team, that milestone wasn't the finish line – it was the launchpad.

We are moving at a pace the industry hasn't seen in 50 years. From the flight line to the engineering lab, this is what it looks like to drive progress every single day.

We’re hiring the team building the supersonic renaissance. If you’re ready to propel the next era of flight, we want to hear from you.

For decades, supersonic progress was a monopoly of global superpowers – and for the last 50 years, it stood still. One year ago today, we picked up where history left off.

On January 28, 2025, XB-1 became the first independently developed jet to break the sound barrier – proving that a focused, private team could restart an era of progress that had been dormant for half a century. To celebrate the anniversary of this milestone, we are syncing our mission store to our flight telemetry for the next 24 hours.

• All XB-1 accessories – including mission patches, lapel pins, and keychains – are priced at $1.18 in honor of our maximum Mach speed reached during the program

• Five random orders will include an original challenge coin that flew supersonic inside XB-1’s landing gear systems bay during this historic flight

• These artifacts witnessed history from inside the airframe and can never be reproduced

The sale ends Thursday, January 29th at 9:30 AM EST. https://shop.boomsupersonic.com/collections/accessories

50 years ago today, Concorde took its first passengers to the edge of space. Since then, this masterpiece of engineering has largely stood still in museums — a reminder of a future we once touched.

We don't look at this aircraft and see a relic; we see a challenge. At Boom, we’ve spent years respecting this legacy by building the technology required to finish the mission.

We aren't just visiting the museum; we're hiring the team to build what comes next. https://boomsupersonic.com/careers

After a year of building at full speed, we can’t help but look back at some of our biggest moments from this year. 🚀

√ On January 28, XB-1 made aviation history as the first civil supersonic jet built in America. By the end of the flight, it broke the sound barrier three times.

√ On February 10, XB-1 flew supersonic again — and we announced Boomless Cruise, confirming with reliable data that supersonic flight without an audible boom is possible.

√ On June 6, following XB-1’s success, POTUS issued an Executive Order that lifted the ban on supersonic flight over land, unlocking the future of fast and quiet travel.

√ On December 9, we announced Superpower, our natural gas turbine business line, backed by a 1.21GW order, and the close of a $300M funding round.

√ On December 18, the House Transportation Committee passed the SAM Act, which codifies President Trump’s EO and directs the FAA to allow supersonic flight over land so long as no sonic boom reaches the ground.

Thank you to everyone who followed our journey this year. Your support and shared passion for bringing back supersonic flight pushes us forward.
