Job Title: QC Inspector

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify defects, deviations from specifications, or quality issues.
· Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
· Maintain accurate records of quality control data and prepare reports for management.
· Work with cross-functional teams to investigate and address customer complaints or product returns related to quality.
· Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
· Monitor and enforce compliance with quality specifications.
· Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements to enhance product quality.
· Communicate quality control findings and recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in structural steel.
· Experience welding/fabricating assemblies.
· Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Ability to use quality control equipment (tape measure, square, weld gages)
· Ability to read/interpret blueprints.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
· Knowledge of AWS D1.1 Structural welding code preferred.
· Quality control certifications are a plus.
· Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods while performing inspections.
