SLP99V FURNACE UPGRADE 🤫🏡🔥

We replaced an older Payne high-efficiency furnace with a top-of-the-line Lennox SLP99V modulating furnace — delivering unmatched comfort, efficiency, and ultra-quiet operation.

Beyond a standard swap-out – Our team made key upgrades to maximize performance and longevity: 🔑📈

• Installed a proper cold air base beneath the furnace to increase return air capacity.
• Ran a dedicated intake pipe to bring in fresh outside air for proper combustion.
• Relocated and cleaned up the condensate drain.
• Installed a Healthy Climate HCWB3-17 whole-home bypass humidifier and a Healthy Climate high-efficiency filter cabinet.
• Cleaned up and optimized the ductwork for better airflow and serviceability

The cold air base is critical — especially on higher BTU furnaces like this SLP99V. Larger systems require more return air to operate efficiently. Without enough return air, you risk:
• Reduced efficiency
• Increased static pressure
• Shortened equipment life
• Uneven comfort throughout the home

By building the proper return air foundation, this system can breathe the way it’s designed to — delivering consistent airflow, better performance, and long-term reliability. ⏳👍
