A few shots of the beginning of an ongoing office expansion for our friends at Gene Davis Sales and Service. Started as a simple sanitary line tie in and it quickly evolved to a sleeve for a future water main and a storm water correction with Doug and the guys from C. Carlin Plumbing. Even rolled out the red carpet for em. The office sits 4' above grade so we ended up 9' down with 12 yards of unsuitable material, excavated by hand. Fortunately, machine offloaded and backfilled after we got it to grade. Got it poured back yesterday so we can finally get started on the fun part.

Be sure to visit Werner Books and Coffee Shop! Still located in Liberty Plaza, but with a much larger space and delicious coffee/local pastries.

We had the privilege of working with owners, Lauren and Kyle, to make their vision for the future of this local staple into a reality.

Stay tuned for more upgrades to the plaza as a whole! Potential new tenants in multiple units and other upgrades in the works.

Incredible to see this old hardwood brought back to life. We have always been a fan of restoring rather than replacing/covering- Luckily FEED Media Art feels the same!

Before and after photos of the dry ice blasting project at the FEED building on State st in downtown Erie. Some areas of the brick are being left exposed so we are removing all the paint and plaster remnants. Other areas are getting a simple clean to remove at much dirt from the building as possible. Just over 35000sf of walls and floors so far. Even on the 100+year old unfired brick we've been able to dial it in to minimize any excess material removal or damage. We are also using it to take a thick layer of adhesive and carpet remnant off the hardwood in anticipation of a future sand/ refinish . Way more to come on this project!

The dry ice sublimates after contact so the only thing left to clean up is the waste removed from the surface. No water, no residue, no chemicals no sand etc. If we had used a traditional media we would needed at least 30000lbs of sand/ walnut shell or glass bead. Believe me these enough to clean up as is! Its a great option for a variety of applications asphalt and paving machinery, plastics molds and manufacturing equipment, masonry restoration, automotive and heavy equipment cleaning, mold and fire damage remediation and much more. Namely environments that you don't want add a secondary media and need a chemical and residue free cleaning. With the right setup you can be gentle enough to take ink off of a business card, or aggressive enough to take paint off of brick. We are glad to have it in our arsenal!
