But the roof was only part of the project.

Along the way, our team completed structural repairs to 5 trusses with a 1.5” drop, removed 3 skylights, installed 5 squares of TPO roofing, and installed 6 squares of 8.5” James Hardie lap siding — all while completing the interior and exterior scope of this project in just 7 days total.

What does it take to pull off an operation like this?

• 6 tractor-trailer deliveries of material
• 6 dumpsters
• 12 hotel rooms
• 5 company trucks
• 3 trailers
• 1 fifteen-passenger van
• And a whole lot of water, Gatorade, electrolytes, long days, and teamwork.

We faced some unforeseen challenges along the way, as you do on projects of this size, but our guys handled every one of them and kept moving forward.

I couldn’t be more proud of this crew.

From mobilization to the final details, this was a massive team effort — and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

Sometimes doing the right thing means doing the job twice.

Most people only see the finished shower. They don't see everything it took to get there.
This project began with a plan for a custom epoxy shower floor and a custom fluted feature wall. After removing the old glass block enclosure, we rebuilt the shower from the framing out— mold abatement, new framing new substrate, waterproofing, tile, and finally the feature wall.
Then we hit an unexpected hurdle.
After the fluted wall was installed, we discovered chipping tile and severe product issues that left us with one choice: remove it
Not patch it.
Not hide it.
Remove it.
That meant tearing out days of hard work, installing new substrate, applying new waterproofing, and rebuilding the entire wall with a different tile.
Was it frustrating? Absolutely.
Was it expensive? Yes.
Was it the right thing to do? Without question.
I'm incredibly proud of our crew. It takes skill to build a shower once. It takes character to tear out your own work and build it again because your customer deserves better.
The finished product isn't just a beautiful shower—it's a reflection of what Keystone General Contracting stands for.

Another successful week in the books for Keystone General Contracting Company.

This week our team completed a large-scale flooring and renovation project that included:

✔️ Beautiful bathroom remodels featuring new vanities, tile surrounds, walk-in showers, and brushed gold fixtures
