The recent brush fire was a reminder about the importance of being prepared for wildfire. Are you prepared?

The Escondido Fire Department is hosting the fifth meeting in a series of community conversations about wildfire preparedness this Monday, August 26, at 6:00 pm at the clubhouse at Vineyard Golf Course (925 San Pasqual Road).

Representatives from Escondido Fire and Police, CAL FIRE, San Diego County Sheriff, SDG&E and the Greater San Diego County Fire Safe Council will be on hand to give an hour long presentation about wildfires, power shut offs, and what you can do to be prepared. Everyone who attended previous sessions found them to be time well spent!
