With the snow and below freezing temps remember to switch your heat pumps over to emergency heat until the snow and ice melts. Heat pumps are not made for these conditions and do not run efficiently when below freezing. By switching your system over to emergency heat you will keep the ice from jamming up the outdoor fan blade and causing damage to the blade and/or motor.
