Meta-Lasers Research and Development Inc is dedicated to the fabrication, development, and sales of a revolutionary new terahertz (THz) source named the Meta-Laser. The Meta-Laser is a solid state THz source based on the concept of electrically powering meta-particles, specifically LC circuits, with short pulses of electrical energy and allowing them to ring-down radiating THz radiation. This soli

d-state, linear approach has been modeled and as one would expect is far more efficient at power conversion than nonlinear methods such as optical rectification, difference frequency generation or electron-slow wave circuit interactions as is currently used in THz generation. Our goal is a tunable solid state narrowband THz source with power output of at least 10 mW. We look to enable real-time THz imaging with all the applications that will entail. This is an exciting time in THz source development. The revolution in THz technology is here and it is the Meta-Laser.
