Tanner Services LLC's Solids Control Division recently assisted a South Louisiana customer with the removal and hauling of contaminated water at an active job site.

Our crews provided safe and efficient vacuum truck services along with hauling and disposal support to ensure the contaminated water was properly transported to an approved disposal facility.

🚧 Tanner Services LLC – Deep Bury / Pit Closure Operations 🚧

Several of our construction crews have been hard at work in the Permian Basin performing deep bury / pit closure operations for our customers.

🛢️ After drilling and completion operations are finished, the drilling pit (or reserve pit) is required to be dewatered and buried to restore the land back to its natural state. This remediation process is commonly referred to as a pit closure, or deep bury.

💧 During the remediation process, reserve pits are dewatered, leaving only drilling mud behind. The mud is then dried, and a hole is excavated adjacent to the reserve pit for burial.

📏 These holes are typically 18’ to 22’ deep, allowing for 3’ to 6’ of natural topsoil to cover the material.
