Flushable wipes will flush and go down the drain, however, they don’t disintegrate.
Toilet paper was designed to disintegrate quickly when it's wet so that it doesn’t clog the drains. Flushable wipes do not disintegrate when they are wet ... they actually hold up better than wet paper towels (not that you should be flushing paper towels either)...
Flushable wipes can build up in the lines and can create a blockage in the sewage lines that could cause flooding in your home.
They can also cause blockages in septic lines and make it necessary for the septic to be pumped more frequently.
While flushable wipes are, in fact, flushable - doing so could cause major issues down the road.
