In 2014, Megan Wade had a vision to create a science camp where the campers could have hands-on experience with science experiments! Every single attendee gets to perform each experiment with their lab partner. Together we explore concepts including density, surface tension, acids, bases, and many many more! We learn about the International Space Station and all of the experiments happening aboard
the station. There are three levels of the camp: Science is Cool (1), Science is Cooler (2), and Science is Real (3). The camp is for kids age 7-12. The camp is 2 hours a day and located at the Kindermusik with Julie studio on Oak Grove Road. Please call (812)473-8680 if you are interested in signing up your son or daughter! There are three weeks of camps this year! The weeks of July 10th and 17 include both camps 1 and 2. Then camp two and three will run through the week of the 24th. From Megan: My mission is to create a spark inside of their minds! I want them to see how awesome science is! Science is a subject that can sometimes be seen as hard or impossible, but I want to change this perception by presenting science in a new and exciting way!
