Selecting the right booster system starts with understanding the real application.

Flow demand, available pressure, usage patterns, control needs, system size, and long term performance expectations all affect which solution makes the most sense. A basic residential boost requirement does not need the same configuration as a larger commercial, irrigation, hospitality, education, or light industrial application.

The AY Pumps by Baker lineup gives specifiers and contractors a practical path to match the right booster to the right operating conditions, from fixed speed residential solutions to variable speed systems designed for constant pressure and changing demand.

In modern water systems, performance is defined by how well pressure is maintained as demand changes.

The VS Booster is engineered with a built in VFD and integrated control system to continuously adjust output based on real time conditions. By eliminating traditional on off cycling and replacing it with adaptive control, the system delivers consistent pressure, improves energy efficiency, and reduces stress on components.

Its compact, plug and play design further simplifies installation while maintaining high performance standards.

The result is a system that not only performs better, but operates more efficiently over its entire lifecycle.

50 years. One company. A legacy that runs in the family.

Doug Van Fossen followed his father's footsteps into Baker Manufacturing Company and never looked back. From the foundry floor to Casting Sales to his current role as our Pitless and Booster Customer Success Technical Expert in Monitor Sales, Doug has been a cornerstone of this company for half a century.

We celebrated this incredible milestone on April 30th, and we couldn't be more proud to have Doug on the Baker team.

Congratulations, Doug. 50 years and counting.

A homeowner had spent years worried that a booster station near her property would bring noise and vibration into her home.

But during startup, the running unit was so quiet that she couldn’t feel any vibration at the cap. The concern turned into relief almost immediately.

Baker Water Systems delivered a Monitor PS810 Duplex Booster Station for an Aqua PA water resource project, built to provide reliable performance without disrupting the neighborhood around it.

Good water infrastructure should be quiet, reliable, and easy to forget when it’s working.
