As many of you know, Morgan Ready Mix has added another American flag themed mixer truck to the fleet. 🇺🇸
One truck is proudly named “Donna” in honor of our late friend and Navy veteran Donna Austin.
As we worked on ideas for the second truck, I came across the story of Annie Fox.
Annie Fox was an Army nurse stationed at Pearl Harbor during the attack on December 7, 1941. While chaos unfolded around her, she continued caring for wounded soldiers during the attack. She represented calm leadership while being flooded with soldiers and sailors, bombs falling, and panic everywhere. She later became the first woman in American history to receive the Purple Heart.
That story hit home with me.
These trucks may haul concrete every day, but I also want them to stand for something bigger, hard work, patriotism, sacrifice, and remembering the people who helped build this country.
So there’s a good chance truck #163 may soon carry the name “Annie.”
God bless our veterans and the men and women currently serving our country. 🇺🇸
Happy Memorial Day friends!
