Been awhile since I posted. Not gonna lie, things have been kinda hard here at Kiehl3D lately. But going through my storage, I found the namesake of Devastator, my first printer. Yes. I have the original G1 Devastator, missing a couple of small parts and with a broken gun. But I have him.

Finally got around to assembling the helmet and putting the fangs on the skull mask, now just have to paint the split Oni mask and affix them to the mask and Yoshimitsu from Soul Calibur V's mask is done! Next will be Ichigo's Vasto Lorde mask from Bleach, once I get the right filament. Would prefer to use Amolen Teal Glow in the Dark PLA for it but it hasn't been in stock on Amazon for a minute.

Well, after putting it all together, realized that one of my wheels on the V-Slot was worn to the point of instability. ...

Well, after putting it all together, realized that one of my wheels on the V-Slot was worn to the point of instability. After about 3 1/2 years, was time to change them out! Since I had it disassembled, I decided to install the X and Y tensioners I had printed out a while ago, and upgrade the belts. About all that's left of what I have currently planned, upgrade wise, is installing a bed cable chain that I have already printed out. Just already spent the day on this and would like to get a print started, considering I thought I would be able to earlier this week.

Had to print out a different Direct Drive bracket than the one I originally had printed out, but the Hero Me Gen 7 upgrade for Devastator is complete! Printed in Sainsmart Carbon Fiber Filled Nylon 25/75. All that's left is to either install a new 5015 on the left side or solder the red wire back to the terminal, as it broke while I was doing the upgrade, and to tie the cables to the cable management tower.

I finished printing it out last week, here are all the pieces. Now for painting the Oni mask and then assembly!

Devastators shroud assembled! Minus the fans, hotend, and direct drive, but the parts I can assemble away from the printer are done! Prob going to turn in for the night and finish this tomorrow after work.

Finally busted out the heat press insert machine and put all the inserts into Devastators upgraded Hero Me Gen 7 Modular...

Finally busted out the heat press insert machine and put all the inserts into Devastators upgraded Hero Me Gen 7 Modular hotend fan shroud system. Figured since I had it disassembled to unjam it, I might as well finish the upgrade I needed to do.

Got the glow in the dark masks and statuette out in the sun to get their glow on!

My next big mask after the Yoshimitsu mask is going to be on an equal level of awesomeness! I found a model for Ichigos Vasto Lorde Hollow Mask from the manga and anime Bleach! I have been looking for this one for a hot minute! Can't wait!

Pics of the other side of the split Oni mask and the eyes, and the top parts of the helmet. One of the back pieces is printed, but I have been having a hard time with this Amolen Ebony Wood filament, it really doesn't like adhering to itself, and really likes to catastrophically jam up my hotends. Am going to reprint in Amolen Glow in the Dark Starry Sky PLA, which I have always had good results with. It's what I printed my mf Doom and Dr. Doom masks in, as well as my favorite statuette, a Rooster headed Buddha. But the bulk of the printing is already done for the mask!

The split Oni mask halves totally fit on the Saturn with some model rotation, and here is the first half, printed in Elegoo Water Washable Ceramic Grey Resin. The other half and the eyes are printing on Laserbeak (my Saturn), while Menasor, my CR10 Smart, works on the helmet pieces. Decided to do the top helmet pieces in the ebony wood, one piece at. Time as I am having some printing issues with it, and the back plate pieces with the metallic Starry Sky glow in the dark filament I have, as the misprints have taken too much from the one roll to finish them all in it.
