ICYMI, Universal Hydrogen recently began a two-year flight test campaign of its hydrogen-powered Lightning McClean, equipped with our magni650 electric propulsion unit. The test campaign aims to advance the powertrain technology into commercial services in the near future. Read more in Aero News:

According to the International Energy Agency, aviation accounted for 2% of global energy-related CO2 emissions in 2022, having grown faster than other modes of transportation. Demand for air transport has more than doubled since 2000, and demand for both passenger and freight aviation is expected to remain strong in the future, yet energy efficiency improvements have slowed recently.
