Our suppliers are also local businesses and employ local workers. CrystaLite was incorporated December 10, 1982. Its founders, Steve Richter and Jan Searle (retired December, 1998), felt that a better and more energy efficient product could be produced. The purpose of the Company is to provide quality workmanship in the fabrication of skylights, sunrooms, and railings in support of our many dealer
s and distributors. Today, our main plant is in Everett, WA with distribution centers located in Salem, OR and Spokane, WA. Sales areas include the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, N. Carolina, Alaska and Hawaii. The organization is made up of a Management Team, Marketing Staff, Engineering Department, Skylite Fabrication Shop, Custom Fabrication Shop, Sunroom / Railing Fabrication Shop, Delivery Support group, and a Full Maintenance shop. The total number of employees during full production is currently over 60. CrystaLite manufactures products for residential, industrial, and commercial customers, specializing in custom overhead glazing and fabricated skylights, applications such as vaults, canopies, ridges, multi-domes, pyramids, triangles, hexagons, octagons, and slope glazing. Additionally CrystaLite manufactures and supplies aluminum railing systems and sunrooms. CrystaLite enjoys an excellent reputation as a quality skylite manufacturer. We fabricate over 3,000 different skylite variations in standard sizes alone. Our customers may choose from a limitless assortment of styles, frame finishes and lens colors. We take pride in the fine quality workmanship that is apparent in each and every skylite manufactured by our employees. We have built many different and interesting skylight systems for schools, universities, government buildings, and leading corporations. In the years ahead, CrystaLite will continue to explore new marketable products and technologies with our main focus on more energy efficient skylights and products.
