I hope this email finds you well. As we continue to grow and improve our platform, I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates and progress we've made at MineLife. Your continued support and engagement are invaluable to us, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible experience.

1. Progress on Product & Service Marketplace Our development team has been hard at work on our Product & Service registration. We are aiming for an August completion date. This new business development feature will help mining sector vendors drive sales, adding another valuable dimension to MineLife.

2. Helping Our Clients Succeed We are thrilled to share that we’ve been actively assisting our clients in maximizing the potential of their projects through their MineLife-built websites. Recently, Maurice Ilunga Yantambwe from the DRC, a MineLife client, just kicked off building his website. Maurice is a Senior Geologist who previously worked for Vale, where he was the manager of exploration for the Lualaba copper/cobalt project in the town of Kolwezi. He is now advancing his MUKABE COPPER PROJECT, located about 250 km northwest of Lubumbashi. We’re happy to support Maurice and all our clients as we prepare for the official completion of our website builder in July.

3. Upcoming Features and Enhancements We have several exciting developments in the pipeline:
Website Builder Completion: Set for July, our website builder will offer more robust features and improved usability.
New Pricing: Starting in June, our "Bold Venture" plan will be available at $500/year, and our "California Chrome" plan at $2,300/year. The "Bold Venture" plan is marketed to privately held companies, while the "California Chrome" plan is marketed to publicly listed companies. This reflects the enhanced value and capabilities we are introducing.

Mining Product & Service Marketplace: Stay tuned for the launch of this new marketplace, designed to connect you with essential products and services tailored for the mining sector.
Hiring Platform Enhancements: As part of our MineLife hiring platform, you'll soon be able to create milestones, fund, and payout through contracts directly in your dashboard. If you've registered a mining company, remember that MineLife is obviously the best place to post mining sector jobs, view candidate profiles and hire the cream of the crop:)

Currently, "The Fair Labor Standards Act defines an employee as “any individual employed by an employer.” But the Supreme Court in a series of cases starting in the 1940s laid out a multi-prong “economic reality” test that instructs courts and businesses to weigh many factors when determining whether workers are employees or contractors.

These include:

1. the degree of a company’s right to control the manner in which work is done; 2. worker’s opportunity for profit or loss depending on skill;
3. a worker’s investment in equipment or materials;
4. whether the service requires a special skill;
5. the working relationship’s permanence; and,
6. the extent to which a service is integral to a company’s business.

The Biden proposal focuses on whether workers are “economically dependent upon an employer for work.”
