A Father’s Day Salute to the Men Who Build by Tearing Down

To the Fathers on Our Team,

This Father’s Day, I want to personally thank and honor each of you who carry the title of “Dad” with pride — while also showing up every day to do one of the toughest jobs out there.

Demolition takes strength, skill, and grit. It’s about clearing the way for something better to rise — and in many ways, that’s exactly what you do as fathers. You break down barriers, push through hard times, and work tirelessly to build something greater for your families: a future filled with opportunity, security, and love.

I know the long days and physical demands of this job aren’t easy, especially when you’re also trying to be present at home. But your efforts don’t go unnoticed. Your kids may not always see what you go through out here — but they feel the results of your dedication every day.

This Father’s Day, I hope you get the chance to rest, be celebrated, and enjoy the family you work so hard for. You deserve it — and more.

The heavy winds of Spring have begun and with those heavy winds come inevitable damages.

Check out our recent before and after photos of an indoor/ outdoor storage building that collapsed from wind damages.

AFS’ skilled employees were able to precisely cut and remove the damaged roof and exterior walls - all while working in close quarters. Coordinating with CSX, AFS ensured no issues or delays with the immediately adjacent railroad. We were able to preserve all adjacent structures unaffected by Mother Nature and provide the owner with a clean site to safely rebuild upon.
