Overbored .040”, new pistons, Hastings rings, bearings, new valves, competition valve job, timing set, oil pump, balance shaft delete, plus a complete transmission rebuild with new bearings, seals, and synchros.

A look inside a Toyota R155F 5-speed transmission.

With over 300,000 miles of service behind it, this transmission was torn down for a complete refresh before problems had a chance to develop.

New bearings, synchros, seals, thorough inspection, and careful reassembly.

2007 Toyota Tacoma R155F 5-speed transmission in the shop for a full teardown, inspection, and rebuild for a street truck.

This transmission is getting completely gone through with all new bearings and synchronizers installed to help bring back smooth shifting and long-term reliability. Every gear, shaft, and component gets carefully inspected during the rebuild process to make sure everything is right before final assembly.

A clean, properly rebuilt manual transmission makes a huge difference in how a truck drives, especially on higher mileage Tacomas.
