Nestled in the heart of Martin's Gate in Newport, Kentucky, The Monroe is more than a home — it's an experience. With breathtaking, million-dollar views of the Cincinnati skyline, every window tells a story. ✨

We were honored that The Monroe was the 2023 Cincinnati Homearama People's Choice Award Winner and also the recipient for Favorite Outdoor Living, Favorite Interior Design, and Favorite Home — a true testament to the extraordinary talent poured into every detail of this Northern Kentucky custom home. 🏆

The inspired interiors were the work of award-winning designer Amy Holt and Designs on Madison, while the stunning architecture and outdoor living spaces were crafted by Darren Myers, Managing Principal and Lead Architect at Bowerman-Myers Architects. Together, they created something truly unforgettable — from the multiple outdoor living spaces and entertainer's dream upper level, to the urban architecture that beautifully honors the neighborhood's historic charm.

Celebrating Two Generations of Family & Craftsmanship

At the heart of everything we build is family — and this photo says it all. Our beloved founder, the late Walter Gerbus, Sr., shares a timeless moment with his grandson Jonathan, son of Kevin, who just crossed the stage at his high school graduation this week.

For decades, Walter poured his passion into every custom home and remodeling project we took on — always with an eye for quality, and always with the best trade partners as a trusted part of our craft. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in every home we build, every family we serve, and in the generations he helped shape.

Congratulations, Jonathan. The whole family — and our entire team — couldn't be prouder. 🎓
