Since those humble beginnings (and still operating as a family-owned business), we have become the largest distributor of quality Parker Hannifin® components in the Tri-State Area (NJ, NY & CT) and provide

custom Engineered Systems and MRO services. We’re also proud to have earned both Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technology Center status. Progressive Hydraulics maintains a huge inventory, local stores to provide parts and equipment on short notice, and a knowledgeable factory trained staff of sales, customer service, and engineering personnel. Not only are our employees certified and trained on Parker® industrial, mobile, pneumatic and connector products, but we maintain an ISO 9001 Quality Standard.

👏 Big congratulations to Frank Cappa on his promotion to Customer Service Manager at Progressive Hydraulics!

Frank joined PHI four years ago as a Customer Service Representative, bringing strong industrial sales experience and a customer-first mindset to the team.

Now, with 8 years of industrial sales experience, he’s stepping into a leadership role overseeing PHI’s Customer Service team and helping us continue to strengthen the support our customers count on.

“Our customers are at the center of what we do. I’m excited to step into this role and lead our Customer Service team as we continue building on the service and support our customers have come to expect from PHI.”

See that giant vat of hydraulic oil hooked up to our filter cart? 👀

Most people would assume it's ready to go.

After all, it's brand new from the supplier - sealed, fresh and never used.

But here's something many people don't realize:

🆕 New oil doesn't always mean clean oil.

Just because fluid looks perfectly clear, it can contain microscopic particles that can increase component wear, reduce reliability and impact the performance of critical hydraulic equipment.

Which is what we're addressing in this photo.

We're currently building a hydraulic system that uses high-performance valves requiring a specific ISO particle count. To help protect those critical components, we're conditioning the oil with our custom-built filter cart equipped with Parker filtration technology and verifying the results with a particle counter before startup.

It's one of the many value-added services we offer to help customers get the most from their hydraulic systems.

Our Fabrication Team completed another batch of custom cylinder assemblies for a packaging system manufacturer supporting the food & beverage industry. And this shipment is only part of a larger multi-unit order.
