To all who here many disparaging stories from Asheville and surrounding areas as I have said before in earlier postings,not every one can be everywhere at once.
I have just spoken to a dear friend of many years in Asheville,NC.Chester Spears,he is reporting extreme devastation in all river and creek areas, however,he and family are fine.Many of the stories are FALSE,some are very isolated if true at all,the following is on the ground as per him
FEMA- cash in had no paper 750.00- only need drivers lic,need chain saw get one ,generator here get one.Were on ground before eye hit.
NATIONAL GUARD NC,SC,VA,other areas
US ARMY
US MARINES
US AIR FORCE
MANNA KITCHENS
UNITED WAY
RED CROSS
Many civilian air craft-no there not being held back they're flying but had to at least register with ATC,to coordinate.
Food and resources are every hard to distribute due to the mountainous terrain,search crews are on foot ,horse back if possible, almost all bridges are gone as are many roads in and out.
Yet as always the community is working together like America does.
So lets give all our best
as well as those under Milton coming to Florida.

Goodbye meta verse! You're told to stay out of my personal info 'n pictures, and any private info of mine. A lawyer has advised all of us to post this or there might be legal consequences. As meta is now a public entity, all members must post a similar statement. if you don't post this at least once. It's assumed you're allowing the use of your personal information and photos. I do Not give you permission to use any of my data nor photos. If you're thinking about leaving Facebook due to excess sales ads and spam, you can upgrade your system by coping this post and pasting it to 'what's on your mind' field. Goodbye annoying ads, hello to new and old friends! IT ACTUALLY WORKS! have nothing to loose! had all kinds of garbage on wall.
