It’s time for more ! Dynamic braking is used when a motor-driven load needs to slow down more quickly than the drive can manage under normal deceleration. A braking resistor provides a path to dissipate energy as heat. A good thing to know look for:

✅ Built-in dynamic braking transistor = the drive may be ready to control a braking resistor.
☑️ Braking resistor = the external component that must be selected and purchased separately.

Always refer to the catalog for the correct braking details by model!
