🚨 Successful Search & Rescue Mission – Located Missing Dogs 🐾
Over the past couple of days, I had the opportunity to assist in a local search effort using my drone. A mother and her puppy had gone missing, and time was critical.
On the first day, I was able to successfully locate them using aerial visibility with my DJI Mavic Air 2, though unfortunately they weren’t able to be captured at that time.
The following day, I returned to the area and was able to locate them again. This time, with the team ready and in position, both were safely captured.
This was accomplished without thermal imaging, relying strictly on experience, flight strategy, and visual tracking during daylight conditions.
Situations like this highlight just how effective drone technology can be when used properly — especially in search efforts where ground visibility is limited.
I’m grateful I could be part of a successful outcome and help bring them home safely.
