HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a robust and durable material ideal for tough environments. Our HDPE Dual-Wall pipes are corrugated on the outside for ease of connecting fittings in addition to locking the lengths into their place, and a smooth interior for optimal flow without trapped stagnating water.

These are traffic rated and are designed to handle heavy overhead loads, perfect for culvert installations underneath bridges and roadways.

We have plenty in stock, with more coming in all the time, from 8" diameter all the way to a whopping 60" diameter. If you're in the SoCal area, we can also do delivery!

Did you know?:

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a thermoplastic polymer that was first developed in the 1940s by a team of scientists at the German chemical company, BASF. The development of ABS was part of an effort to find a replacement for natural rubber, which was in short supply during World War II.

ABS is made by polymerizing three different monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. The resulting polymer is tough, durable, and resistant to impact, heat, and chemicals. These properties make ABS a popular material for a wide range of applications, including automotive parts, toys, household appliances, and electronic devices.

One of the major benefits of ABS is its strength and durability. It can withstand impact and resist deformation, making it ideal for use in applications where strength and toughness are important. It is also resistant to chemicals and high temperatures, which makes it suitable for use in harsh environments.

ABS is also easy to process, which makes it popular among manufacturers. It can be molded into complex shapes and can be colored easily, making it a versatile material for a wide range of products.

In addition to its physical properties, ABS has also had a significant impact on society in other ways. The development of ABS helped to spur the growth of the plastics industry, which has become a major global industry. The use of plastics has also helped to reduce the demand for natural resources such as wood, metal, and glass, which has helped to conserve natural resources and reduce environmental impact.

Overall, the invention of ABS has had a significant impact on society, both in terms of its physical properties and its contribution to the growth of the plastics industry.

Irrigation is a part of our collective heritage as a species – without it, humanity would never have reached the heights we enjoy today.

A little excerpt from National Geographic about our ancient history regarding this incredible field of knowledge:

“Ancient civilizations in many parts of the world practiced irrigation. In fact, civilization would probably not be possible without some form of irrigation. The earliest form of irrigation likely involved people carrying buckets of water from wells or rivers to pour on their crops. As better techniques developed, societies in Egypt and China built irrigation canals, dams, dikes, and water storage facilities. Ancient Rome built structures called aqueducts to carry water from snowmelt in the Alps to cities and towns in the valleys below. This water was used for drinking, washing, and irrigation...”

If you’d like to read the rest of the article, click the link below! And the next time you find yourself working on that irrigation system, remember – your very ancient ancestors had much of the same concern in watering their plants as we do today!

To irrigate is to water crops by bringing in water from pipes, canals, sprinklers, or other man-made means, rather than relying on rainfall alone.
