Worden Lab - Innovations in marine microbial ecology at the Marine Biological Laboratory and University of Chicago (USA) and the Max Planck for Evolutionary Biology (Germany) To this end we develop technologies and methods for studying the ocean and perform more traditional genome science in the lab.

Congratulations to Dr. David Needham, now Assist. Prof. Needham! David has completed his postdoc in the Worden Lab and is spinning up his own at the University of Kiel and GEOMAR. Former graduate student Dr. Maria Hamilton receives the NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship! We all saw Maria working away on this as she wrapped up her Ph.D. work.
