It's finally warm out!
Some have already started there AC for the season.
A few friendly reminder for those with a traditional forced air AC system:
Take your outdoor condensing unit cover off.
If you didnt use one make sure there isnt debris in the equipment.
Trim back any bushes or shrubs that are over grown & touching the unit.
Change your furnace filter so its not putting unnecessary strain on the unit.
Check those stat batteries.
Make sure registers & returns are open & uncovered.

Those with a minisplit:
If you used a cover on your outdoor condensing unit, make sure to take it off before you turn it on.
Clear any overgrown shrubs & debris away from the unit.
Take your filters out & clean them or replace them.
Check the batteries in the remote.

MOST IMPORTANTLY friends.......
Test run your equipment while its mild like today.
Do not wait until its 85° & 100° humidity to find out your system isnt working properly.

Your equipment should have a preventative maintenance just to ensure things will work when you want them to & give you peace of mind for the upcoming cooling season.
Its cheaper to maintain than pay for a service call & sweltering while you wait.

If youre still using window shakers, give us a call.
We can help remedy that problem as well. 😉
