Badland Batteries 2026 Intern Spotlight: Introducing Mason Jones

Mason is a senior at North Dakota State University and will be graduating in the fall with a degree in mechanical engineering. In his role, he supports our engineering teams to improve product manufacturability, analyze manufacturing data, and support quality control.

We are pleased to have Mason on board and look forward to the impact he will have here, at Badland Batteries, as our manufacturing engineer intern.

We were excited to welcome representatives from Wellspring Hydro to our battery cell manufacturing facility this week.

CEO Terri Zimmerman and CTO Andrew Paulsen led the discussion and gave our guests a closer look at the people, processes, and innovation behind our new cell plant, as well as how we are improving U.S. national security by onshoring battery cell manufacturing for drones and UAS here in North Dakota.
