The Packet Digital team had a chance to get together this week for a relaxing and team-building summer picnic. Our summer picnics are held annually and each year it is truly rewarding to share these memories with a team that continues to grow.

We’ve had a very busy year with Packet Digital increasing the scale of battery manufacturing, Badland Batteries bringing its battery cell manufacturing facility online and Botlink expanding BVLOS operations. While our summer picnic was certainly a time to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished, we are only getting started and none of this would be possible without the terrific relationships we’ve built within our company and those with our customers.

Badland Batteries is building UAS battery cells right here in Fargo, North Dakota. We start from the very foundation of raw materials, then design and manufacture cells to your exact spec.

What does that mean for your company? It means you can secure your supply chain with battery cells actually made in the U.S. It means working with our dedicated lab team to dial-in a cell chemistry that’s a perfect match for your platform and operational needs. It means working with a team that focuses on drones and UAS battery cells (all battery cells are NOT equal, especially cells for drones).

Reach out to today at [email protected] and see how we can begin the process of onshoring your battery supply chain. We can handle every aspect of the process for you, from sourcing raw materials, manufacturing battery cells, to expertly designed battery packs (including PCBA), to testing and certification, battery pack assembly, warehousing, and shipping.

Earlier this week, the Packet Digital and Badland Batteries team was onsite at Capitol Hill for an APFIT technology showcase. Throughout the day, our team displayed and discussed the importance of our work manufacturing battery cells and building finished battery packs here in the United States. As an APFIT procurement awardee, it was important for us to share our work with such an impactful audience.

It was a great afternoon during which we heard support from our nation’s leaders, such as Congressman Ken Calvert of California and Congresswoman Betty McCollum of Minnesota, on the work we and other companies are doing to innovate new technologies, secure our supply chain and improve U.S. national security. APFIT plays a major role for businesses accomplishing these goals by providing procurement funding to transition validated prototypes into scaled, operational use.

What we are achieving at Packet Digital and Badland Batteries is no small feat. We are not just experts in one piece of the battery-building puzzle. We are a full end-to-end battery manufacturer, taking raw materials and building battery cells, while also building, testing, warehousing, shipping and supporting finished battery packs – all done in North Dakota.

Packet Digital and Badland Batteries aren’t just an idea. We are the American-made solution to a secure supply chain and stronger national security, and we are building the products to make this happen right now.
