Just finished up working on this addition for a great couple. We added on to the existing small
master bedroom to make a big cozy bedroom with a walk through closet. We redid the decking to accommodate the new space, tied in the seamless siding and much more!

This is a seasonal position for the summer. You do not have to be a skilled laborer, but must have basic construction knowledge (read a tape measure, safely use power tools, etc). Requires heavy lifting, climbing up ladders, initiative to keep construction zone clean and free from obstructions. PPE such as safety glasses and ear protection will be provided. Must wear closed toed shoes/boots. Must provide own hand tools such as: hammer, tape measure, carpenter's square, and pencil.

Looking to do an addition? Take a look at the pictures of the addition we did this fall!

Here are just a couple of things we did to complete this project;
- excavate
- pour 5’ Floodproof foundation wall and crawl space
- cut access hole into existing foundation wall
- install floor trusses to match existing height of first floor existing trusses.
- frame up 18x20 living space with vaulted ceilings
- install windows and patio door and reused an existing window.
- tied the new roof into the existing exterior wall
- installed asphalt shingles to match
- installed new soffit, fascia, and seamless gutters
- tied new siding into the existing siding
- opened up a 16’ opening in the existing exterior wall and installed a 20’ beam to support the 2nd floor weight.
- framed an archway in the new opening to match the existing living room archway.
- installed lights inside and in the outside soffit
- insulated
- installed drywall, tape, texture and paint to match existing house
- installed gas fireplace with stone veneer.
- tied new flooring into existing flooring
- installed trim and millwork to match existing house

Here is what we had the privilege to put together the last 2 days!

There is no electrical running to this shed so we added some extra windows. The homeowner just wanted it “weathered in” with roofing, house wrap, soffit and fascia installed, and will wait to do siding next year.
