Stucco requires an air dam. Minimum of 4” between bottom of stucco and top of finished grade. The picture shows a new stucco job where the stucco has no weep to allow water out of the stucco system, trapping water and damaging the wall. The drain is below grade and feeding all moisture directly into the ground. The stucco acting like a wick draws up the moisture as you can see the line about 4” up the wall. For all things stucco message me.

Don’t hire any stucco company to do the job. Anybody can put stucco on a wall but a good stucco company must have knowledge of all building trades. This particular home did not get proper roof treatment to keep water out of the stucco and roof system. We tore off old dry rotted sheathing and stucco. Re built the roof and will be adding metal panels.

Fix cracking and add value to your home. Restucco and recolor.
