We have a 69 kv transmission line that has tripped. This is affecting numerous customers as well as the city of Aztec. Crews are headed to patrol the lines. This could possibly be a staggered restoration of power once portions of the line are cleared for a safe return to service.

**UPDATE**
The outage will begin around 11:30 and will last approximately 4 hours. The outage map shows those who will be without service during the repairs. Samon’s is located at the bottom of the picture and shows residences north of the transformer location. Updates will be added to this post.

Due to vehicle contact with a transformer on 20th St - we will have to take an outage later this morning to make necessary repairs. This will directly affect Samon’s and Speedway and approximately 180 other meters.
We will update this post when we have an outage map as well as with the timing of the outage and estimated length.
