We have received a large number of reports of SCAM activity involving our customers. The scammers call and threaten that they will issue a disconnect order unless payment is made immediately.

The City of Farmington DOES NOT manually call and ask for payment. We have an automated system that starts making calls at 4 PM to inform customers who are up for disconnection the following day. From that the phone call you can transfer into our IVR and make a payment or arrangement.

***A live agent will NEVER call and ask for payment. ***

If you receive a call of this nature, please hang up and contact Customer Service at 505-599-1353 to verify the status of your account.
