PRODUCT PRICING ANNOUNCEMENT:
I honestly don't give a s**t about political leanings. The debate about the who and what is tiresome, and serves no real purpose other than division. Facts and numbers are just that. So we're gonna just address that, or try to at least.
The above photo illustrates why our prices have increased over the last 8 months. That's $8.75 to send 4.6 ozs. Ounces, not pounds. That cost has risen 66%, 2/3rds in that 8 month time frame. Just to ship a small set of parts.
Apply the above percentage increase across the board. To metal, coolant, cutters, hardware plus the increased cost of shipping each of those. What started at $35 shipping included is now $80 shipping included. To be fair: the introductory pricing was just that. To cover the cost to make and prove the concept. After that phase, I tried to land at a decent price of $50-$60 per set.
But that is clearly out of mine and all of our hands. This country, the cabal that runs it, wants exactly as things are. Squabbling over pennies so we're too distracted to notice they're bilking us for trillions.
I WANT TO BE ABSOLUTELY CRYSTAL CLEAR:
I am immensely grateful to every single person that has bought or inquired about our ST bar brackets. Even if you haven't bought a set. Discourse is what makes a good product. Be that a governmental system or aftermarket truck parts. I just love making parts that are functional and look good. A product that helps someone or just plain makes someone happy.
ST brackets aren't an empire builder. I'm certainly not getting rich off them, but for $80, you get 4 machined pieces, powder coated, and stainless hardware that will all out last the inferior stock ones. And if they don't- you get free replacements. Designed and manufactured by a real, coffee swilling, potty mouthed American machinist!
$80 for a set is where we're currently at. If that's too steep- I respect that opinion, and hope you can return that respect in understanding as to why I need to price them as such.
