This lovely custom home is almost ready for our clients to move in.

They started with a beautiful plan and then made it their own, carefully selecting finishes, colors, fixtures, cabinetry, and materials that reflect their personal style. One of the standout details will be an incredible Italian tile fireplace surround we were able to source and will soon be installed.

Like every custom build, this project came with its own set of challenges. But through careful planning, detailed budgeting, and constant communication with the homeowners, we were able to bring everything together successfully.

We’re proud to say this home will be completed on time and under budget, something KGC Custom Homes prides itself on. We're able to do this through proper planning; taking the time to pull actual quotes and bids from trades, and putting everything together into a detailed cost sheet that also provides clients and designers guardrails to work within at each stage of the build.

We can’t wait for this family to move in and start making memories here.

Every detail in this space was intentional, from the wall paneling and lighting to the way the natural light moves through the room during the day. Spaces like this don’t happen by accident. They’re the result of thoughtful design, careful planning, and a team that cares about the experience our clients have when they walk into their home for the first time.

For us, building a home isn’t just about square footage or materials.

It’s about creating spaces where people feel something.

Looks like one of those days where the rain wins and the outside plans get cancelled.

So if you’re stuck inside scrolling Facebook… here’s something fun to look at.

This is a home we’re building out in Goshen that’s been coming together spectacularly. The living space is going to feel like a cathedral with cross vaults, huge spans, and roof pitches climbing over 20 feet into the air. It’s the kind of room that makes you stop and look up the first time you walk into it.

Framing something like this so it matches the client’s vision and still stays efficient and buildable takes a lot of thinking, a lot of math, and a few construction superpowers from the team.

Right now she’s being painted, but even at framing you could already see how special the space was going to be.

If everything comes together the way we hope, we’d love to let folks walk through it during the next Parade of Homes.

Some properties fight you a little before they reward you.

This hillside was one of those.

When we first walked it, it was steep, raw ground, the kind of terrain we're always fighting as builders in Northwest Arkansas. It wasn’t just about building something beautiful here. It was about respecting the land and engineering it the right way so it would last.

So we slowed down and did it right.

We shaped the hillside, built a drainage system to carry water safely through the property, and carefully transformed the landscape piece by piece.

Now it’s something completely different.

A quiet pond with a fountain.
A winding drive that welcomes you in.
An incredible shop and guest house sitting peacefully on the hill.

What used to feel like a difficult piece of ground now feels like a place you’d want to sit for a while.

Projects like this remind me that good building isn’t just about houses, it’s about shaping land in a way that lets it breathe, settle, and become something people can enjoy for years to come.

Built for someone ready to trade square footage for lifestyle; morning walks to coffee, evenings downtown, less maintenance and more living. Perfect for a small family or empty nesters starting their next chapter.
