Job Posting: Architectural Drafter
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Drafter to join our team. This position plays a key role in producing accurate construction documents, technical drawings, and design support for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities
• Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD Architecture.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, and markups from architects and project managers into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and company drafting practices.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and redlines.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing sets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants to resolve design/drafting issues.
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings and layouts as needed.
• Contribute to quality control by reviewing drawings for accuracy and completeness.
What we’re looking for:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with 3D modeling, Adobe suite, Bluebeam Revu, rendering, or visualization software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and architectural standards.
• Ability to take direction but also work independently when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate drawings.
• Knowledge of commercial and residential construction documentation.
