Hopefully this is the last of the snow as we start heading into Mud Season-the most challenging season to be in the dumpster rental business!! The landfill from March to May is like mud bogging up north, back in our high school days. You drive on the "pile" of all of the debris, shingles, nails, garbage, construction waste etc. to be able to unload your dumpsters. Often sinking in all the way to the frame. We go thru 1-3 tires per day some days, and if we are really having fun, we can blow thru a sidewall or 2 also.

We are so blessed to have Keith, he has the skills to change a truck or trailer tire on the fly in minutes, run patches and plugs and have air compressors in multiple locations to keep our rig up and running. He can maneuver in the toughest locations with precision and set a dumpster like a feather. This business is for drivers with grit, courage, and resilience! We have that in Keith and just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to him today for all that he does for Roadrunner Dumpsters and our customers.

Thank you to all of our customers in 2025! We have recently added more dumpsters and another trailer to our fleet for increased availability.

What a drive down to Indiana a few weeks ago to ’s Trailer Sales in a very cold snowstormy day. We made the most of the trip with a drive thru Amish country and a visit to Essenhaus Inn for peppermint whoopie pies(thank you Brian and Gindy)!!🥧 A small pitstop at TSC for some more straps to secure the rig for the ride home in the snow. About a 12 hr day, and all in all a very smooth trip!

Also a shout out to 4K Autostyling for coming thru in a pinch and getting our new cans done in a few days with a fresh and updated look.

Need waste removal from Cases Island? We had multiple customers with construction/waste from projects on the island in July. We will coordinate a dumpster drop on your mainland site so you can bring your waste to shore from the island and we will haul away.

These are some items that are not accepted in our dumpsters or at our local landfill for safety reasons. Genesee County does have recycling dates each year, where you can pre-register to take your items and dispose of them in a safe manner-free of charge and friendly to our environment! Working thru mud season and into wind season here in March and April! We did not have to encounter any tow out situations and were able to deliver to all customers while driving only on hard surfaces. We also had the privilege to serve as a part of a team for 2 large local commercial roofing projects in our area. One at Redwood Lodge in Flint, and the other at Bennington Hills Kennel in Fenton. We had 7 dumpsters on the Bennington Hills project site at one time! The project was supposed to be ongoing for 5-7 days...it ended up being completed in 24 hours! We had to hustle and move cans in and out and deliver additional dumpsters to support the speed that this massive roofing crew was working at! It was a challenge and we rose to the occasion to get our part done to make this job happen! The Redwood Lodge project got snowed out and rained out a few times, but we moved the dumpsters to the job as soon as they were rescheduled and ready! Both owners of these businesses were so kind and great to work with on these jobs. We just love working right here in our own community with other local business owners that dedicate their time and efforts back into serving the people right here in our area!

Spring is here! We call March "MUD SEASON" in MI and will only be delivering our dumpsters to driveways and gravel/hard surfaces. The ground may look okay to drive on when we arrive, but here in MI, any yard can turn into soft mud overnight! We have had some epic experiences over the years in the mud from trying to please the customer, and place the dumpster where they want it (off of a hard surface).

Here are some photos from the past to show what happened when our customer's request to have the dumpster placed off the driveway went sideways...literally. Sometimes, when we show up the temps are in the low teens and everything is frozen, the next day or two, we could have a bunch of rain and temps could be 70....hence how we get into a not great situation trying to retrieve our dumpster. The cost of a tow bill can be 2 times the profit in a dumpster rental, and we can spend an entire day waiting for a tow truck to arrive! This means we have to cancel or delay all of our other rentals for the day. Makes for good photos, but definitely an example of not what we want to do!
