Restoring a historic lighthouse takes more than the right equipment—it takes careful planning, skilled craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

For this project, our team constructed a fully enclosed containment system, removed lead paint from both the interior and exterior using sponge blasting, and completed the work without a containment breach—even while working just feet from the water.

Our crew recently completed a major roofing upgrade at our automotive customers' Defiance facility, restoring four substations and six roofing areas while rebuilding three critical roof valleys to improve drainage and long-term performance.

Thanks to outstanding leadership from Foreman Travis Stanfill, excellent project coordination, and the dedication of everyone involved, the project was completed safely, ahead of schedule, and under budget.

In this hands-on role, you will maintain an active, on-the-roof safety presence, working alongside project teams to support compliance with project safety plans and the Niles EHS management system.

🔺Oversee jobsite safety throughout the project life cycle, including daily safety engagements, end-of-day debriefs, safety audits, equipment inspections, and project documentation
🔺 Conduct hazard assessments, identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, and implement immediate corrective actions when safety deficiencies are found
🔺Inspect fall protection and rescue equipment, generators, compressors, hazardous chemical storage, and other jobsite equipment to ensure safe and compliant operations
🔺Provide safety orientations and on-site training, assist with incident reporting and investigations, and build strong relationships with customers, project managers, employees, and subcontractors
