ROSS CONTROLS®, a leader in Fluid Power Safety, posted on our website, a new safety application note on Hydraulic Compactor Safety. Hydraulic compactors are used throughout multiple industries to help recycle cardboard and paper products amongst other things. While relatively simple in design, they can also be extremely dangerous due to the high forces used in its operation. ROSS® works with customers to provide a remediation to meet the latest safety standard requirements to protect employees in applications that range from simple to very complex.

The ROSS Controls® 21 Series poppet valves are inline-mounted valves designed for use beyond the temperature limits of most other valves. These valves are designated as either Standard, High Temperature, or Low Temperature valves. ROSS poppets are known for their ability to withstand the harshest of environments and keep working consistently.

The ROSS 21 Series are directional control in-line valves that direct and control the flow of compressed air through a pneumatic system. The 21 Series valve has a robust and contamination-tolerant poppet design and is available in either a 2/2, 3/2, or 4/2 function.

Available with a solenoid pilot or air pressure control. Solenoid pilot controlled valves are available with an internal or external pilot supply.

These 21 Series valves are SIL Certified per the requirements of the IEC 61508 2010 standard. These valves are suitable for use in safety instrumented systems up to SIL 2 and may be used in a redundant structure up to SIL 3.

Associate will assemble parts sequentially according to specifications by using an array of tools and equipment. Associate will use knowledge, skills, and abilities to support Lean manufacturing processes by maintaining a clean and safe work area and following all quality and safety procedures. We prefer candidates who have some experience in manufacturing, but are willing to train the right person.

Associate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be proficient with a variety of manual and power tools; able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motion for extended periods; work and communicate effectively in a team environment; and be PC literate.

Mon. - Thurs.10 hour day shifts. $500 Signing bonus!
