This project evolved quite a bit as we worked on it at our camp on Onderdonk Lake. We tore down an old 6x6 wooden retaining wall that was failing and built a new 50’ retaining wall along with a 700 sq-ft patio and a recessed firepit. The crew (plus dad) really killed it on this one finishing in just 5 days. The twins got to lay all the river rock around the patio and were a big help all week. Just waiting on poly sand, topsoil and wiring up lights. Now time for mom to put her stamp on it with furniture and just wait till you see this one at night! Looking forward to many years of campfires and smores.

First big retaining wall of the season. No project too challenging for our crew! Interesting terrain for this build, had to cut a temporary road into the hill to build the wall and bring 60 ton of stone in one mini skidsteer bucket at a time. Patio up top going in next, stay tuned!
