200 Years of Carl Zeiss – Trust and Responsibility

August Löber was Zeiss's first apprentice and later became Head of Optical Production. Finding the right employees was extremely important to Carl Zeiss. That's why he honored his employees' work by hosting company get-togethers and organizing garden parties – in his own private garden, no less. He also attached great importance to breaks during the workday and a good education.
