Cider season is here! 🍎🍂

We loved this shoutout from David at Hilltop Orchards, who stopped by Rocheleau to pick up another supply of gallon cider bottles as they gear up for one of their busiest times of year.

As David put it, this time of year means “farmers’ hours”, and we know that when our local farms are busy pressing cider, harvesting crops, and getting products out to their customers, having bottles ready when they need them matters.

We’re especially proud of the relationships we’ve built with local farms and orchards like Hilltop over the years. As a fourth-generation family business, there’s something particularly rewarding about helping another family business get ready for a busy season.

A great afternoon spent outside celebrating an even better team. ☀️

Last Friday, the Rocheleau team gathered at Wildwood Farm LLC for our annual company BBQ! It was a chance to step away from the shop, enjoy some great food, and spend time together outside of the workday.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of our founder, L.A. Rocheleau, and the beginning of a journey that started in 1938.

For 88 years, Rocheleau has been built on the belief that hard work, craftsmanship, and determination can accomplish extraordinary things. L.A.'s handwritten words, "Fear No Task," continue to serve as more than a motto; they're a reminder to embrace challenges, pursue innovation, and always strive for better.

As we begin our 89th year in business, we're grateful for the generations of employees, customers, suppliers, and partners who have helped shape our story. What began as a small machine shop has grown into a global manufacturer of blow molding machinery, molds, automation, and plastic products, while remaining proudly family-owned through four generations.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. Here's to honoring our past, embracing the opportunities ahead, and continuing the legacy that L.A. Rocheleau began 88 years ago.

A major milestone for the Rocheleau team!

Our Engineering and Assembly departments have been working very hard over the last several months on a brand new Rocheleau RS-90 Blow Molding Machine, and today, we moved that completed machine into our production facility! 🎉

This project was made possible in part through our Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Manufacturing Accelerate Program (MMAP) grant and our partnership with MassMEP, which have allowed us to invest in advanced manufacturing technology that will expand our production capabilities while creating new opportunities for workforce development and upskilling.

A special thank you to Worcester Trucking Company for helping make today's move a success by carefully relocating our existing RS-25 out of the plant and moving the new RS-90 into its new home. ✨

Over the next few weeks, our team will be completing installation and final setup before the machine begins production. We're excited to see the RS-90 in operation and look forward to the impact it will have on our production facility for years to come.
