Our team traded hard hats for chef's hats again today for our Chili Cook-Off, and for the third time the winning pot belonged to Trey Ford. His Three-Peat Chili earned him the chain, and the rest of us earned an hour away from work and more dessert than anybody needed. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow! 🎃

Almost ready! Our crews are wrapping up a new outpatient clinic for UNC Health Pardee in Arden.

It started as bare steel studs back in June, and this month the final cleaning is underway.

The Hendersonville Community Co-op is owned by the people who shop there, more than 2,500 of them when the new store opened in 2015. They wanted a building that reflects what they believe, so we built it to use the rain and the daylight.

The roof drains into two cisterns beside the store, which hold the rain for the garden and the landscaping, and skylights bring daylight down to the sales floor to save energy.

Even the block building that stood on the site first was removed for recycling, and the new awning and trellis were built with reclaimed wood. So it made sense that the Co-op held its grand opening on Earth Day. Were you at the Co-op that day?

Chimney Rock is getting its general store back.

We're rebuilding Bubba O'Leary's General Store to look like the one Hurricane Helene took in 2024. The new store is 12,225 square feet, and these clips from August show the siding on and the porch framed.

We're honored to be part of bringing it back. Are you planning a visit once it reopens?

Tri-Hishtil never stopped growing while we built this.

The Mills River farm grafts vegetable seedlings, and when they needed more room, shutting down wasn't an option. We added 42,000 square feet of growing space right beside benches that stayed full, while orders kept shipping.

We've been building on this farm since 2015. Thanks to the Tri-Hishtil team for eleven years of trusting us with it.

This is what harvest looks like inside the production building we built for Stone Ashe Vineyard

Everything from the crush to barrel aging happens in these 4,240 square feet, and our own HVAC crew installed the system that keeps the barrel room at temperature.

It's the third building we've put up on their vineyard since 2017, and we still love seeing it at work.

AdventHealth Hendersonville held its Sporting Clay Shoot last Friday at Cleghorn Gun Club in Rutherfordton for Women's Health Services, and we were grateful to be part of it.

It was a good morning to be out from behind the desk and the jobsite trailer. We built the hospital's new NICU and family birthing suite, so it felt good to support women's health there in a different way.

First Baptist Church of Hendersonville is turning the 3:16 Center's old gymnasium into a worship and event space, and the shape of it is showing up fast with stadium seating stepping up toward where the stage will be, and a second level of new rooms opening onto a balcony above the floor. Concrete is poured, framing is up, and the room is starting to feel like a room again.

We are deeply grateful to have the opportunity to work with First Baptist Church, Hendersonville, NC over the years. We can't wait to see the finished building!

Four months of progress on Main Street.

In April, Bubba O'Leary's General Store was a bare metal shell behind our fence in Chimney Rock. By July the siding was up, the windows were set, and the porch roof was framed and dried in. In the newest photos the metal roof is on, the deck is rebuilt over its new columns, and the paint crew is working the porch.

Hurricane Helene took this store in September 2024. Helping bring it back, and Chimney Rock back with it, is some of the most meaningful work our crews have done.
