Another great week on the road representing Kentucky Welding Institute at the Illinois FFA State Convention in Springfield, Illinois. We had the opportunity to meet thousands of students, answer questions about careers in the skilled trades, and hand out more than 600 KWI t-shirts along the way.

A huge thank you to the Illinois FFA members, advisors, and supporters who stopped by our booth. The future of the trades is bright, and we enjoyed connecting with so many young people who are exploring their next step after high school.

We can’t wait to see everyone again at National FFA Convention this fall. See you there!

He earned every cert in the program, completed his training, and didn’t stop there—he earned his GTAW inconel sched 10, GTAW copper nickel sched 10, chrome combo monster, and his GTAW inconel monster❗️ The opportunities are here. Do they let students weld exotic alloys like Inconel, Super Duplex, Chrome, and Copper Nickel, or are they trying to pass off carbon and stainless as exciting? What certifications are they putting on your résumé besides welding certifications? Are they ACCET accredited? Are they recognized by the American Welding Society? Do they partner with NCCER?
