Had a fun install last week! Quick story, we quoted this job over phone and actually never saw the place until the day of the replacement. We rarely give estimates over the phone but when we have we lucked out with a straight forward install. Customer explained it was a little tight but he thought we could manage. Too our surprise the utility space had very limited room to work with and the furnace that needed replacement was in the back corner. Then Low and behold we found ourselves finding 2 Lennox Pulse systems. And if you don’t know why I say that with such piazzas, well it’s because they are infact dinosaurs, old equipment that you rarely see anymore. It took longer removing the unit then it did installing the new 120k btu RUUD furnace. We also found a be hive in both exhaust pipe and intake that we replaced fully and capped the old existing pipes. We built a box for the furnace to sit on to pull the return air from the side and bottom. All in all very happy on the finish and to be able to see equipment like that is still alive and out there in the wild. 👍

I’ve always been a Reznor or Modine Hot Dawg guy but this brand surprised me! I also think it has the best esthetic out of most garage heaters

Below shows the obvious; the first element has been in the home for years and is obviously beat up. The second element is in great shape and has a better conditioning capacity and esthetic.
Just like anything that is used day to day, like your car. Parts break down and eventually fail to do there job properly. It’s just the fact of knowing when to fix it.
