Apex Helicopters was founded in 2007 and has since grown to a full scale helicopter company. We are based in Florence, Oregon, yet provide services to our customers in the lower 48 contiguous United States and Alaska. Apex Helicopters operates with the idea in mind that our customers expect the most experienced, safety conscious and cost effective aerial services possible. From our field crews to
our owners, we strive to provide this expectation with timely customer response, proactive project planning, experienced pilots and ground crew, efficient use of our customers time and money. Apex Helicopters maintains an FAA Part 135 Air Taxi Certificate, Part 133 External Load Certificate (Class A, B, C), Part 137 Aerial Application Certificate. Our company is contracted and interagency carded with the US Forest Service (USFS) and Department of Interior (DOI) for wildland fire support and non-fire project work on a call when needed (CWN) or On-Call basis. Our aircraft fleet consists of Bell 206B-3 Jetranger and Airbus AS350B-3 ASTAR helicopters. Each of these aircraft are well suited for air taxi, charter, power line patrol, right of way survey, right of way inspection, fish & wildlife survey, tours, fire fighting, external load, long line cargo, remote sight support, oil and gas exploration, agriculture, advanced flight training, LIDAR, mapping, aerial video / camera / photography work, data collection, etc. Our company and pilots have an impeccable safety record. Our implemented Safety Management System (SMS) tracks, reports, implements and ensures that our company is maintaining a safe environment for our crews and customers. Our proactive safety culture is repeatedly recognized by our existing customers.
